Run your LiveCD directly on Windows
MobaLiveCD let’s you run .ISO files that contain a bootable CD-Rom or Live CD directly from Windows. It means you don’t have to burn a new CD every time you want just to try a new distribution of Linux, for example.
The main program’s screen is very simple and nicely designed, although you can’t resize the windows. You can either chose to install a right-click association with ISO image files or to run a LiveCD directly by browsing your hard drive and finding the file.
It takes a while to load a whole operating system like one of the Linux distributions, but at least you can see how they are, and try them without altering your computer in any way. You’ll have to take into account that it’s an emulation, so it will never be as responsive as the real OS, but it’s another option you have to avoid burning CDs you might not use more than once.
Have a look at as many Linux LiveCD distributions as you want with MobaLiveCD. Thanks to its emulator engine, it lets you try LiveCD directly from Windows, without having to burn ISO files on CDs.
